Watching Friends with Friends
Inviting ourselves into the homes of friends primarily derived through social networking, we will use their television sets to watch an episode of the popular NBC sitcom "Friends" and broadcast this event live on our Facebook page. These 21 to 23 minute happenings (measured by the length of the television episode) will be interrupted by dialogue between the two of us that involuntarily incorporates our hosts. The focus of our conversations will cover topics of a highly personal nature: money, honesty, integrity, and sex.
Each live broadcast will be visible on our facebook page. A live performance will also occur at The Performance Art Institute in San Francisco, CA as part of the upcoming exhibition "Keeping an Eye on Surveillance". (September 11 through October 22, 2011)
