Using Wikipedia.org as a medium for art, this piece presents an argument over the personal histories of the two artists. The argument is accessed primarily through the History tab, though remnants are also documented in the Discussion tab, and temporarily on the Main Page itself. Some of the artists edits are allowed to remain while others are quickly removed by more seasoned wiki-editors as they unwittingly mediate between the two artists as to which elements of their biography are historically relevant.
In most artistic attempts to collaborate, there is a point where the contributors clash over authorship. By using the shared environment of the Wiki, Sean and Isabel exploit this cooperative challenge through a large and unwitting pool of contributors.
To access the piece, visit http://www.wikipedia.org and search for Sean Fletcher and Isabel Reichert. Click on the "History" tab or the "Discussion" tab at the top of the screen.
